Hi There!!
A Bit About Me....
I'm Colleen, I'm 26 and live in Leeds with my Husband Dan and 2 dogs (Simba the Teacup Yorkie and Oscar the Bichon X Shitzu - they're my babies.) I married the love of my life in December 2018 and we went on our honeymoon in Venice (see above photo in Florians) where we ate far too much pasta and walked A LOT. I'm a Disney nut and if I could be any Disney character (I know you were wondering!) it would be Mushu - because I'm short and not very good at spitting fire. I collect vintage cameras, but don't use them, and I speak french but never in England (which makes practising difficult...) and I love to play the piano.
How Did It Start?
My now Husband bought me my first proper camera 9 years ago and I was hooked immediately. The first few years I stuck to animals but once I moved on to people I never looked back. I love nothing more than freezing genuine emotion on peoples faces for eternity. I'd known I wanted to go into wedding photography for a while but hadn't found the courage to take the leap, but then my Husband (although he wasn't at the time) saw a post on Facebook looking for a wedding photographer on short notice because their's had cancelled - So he volunteered me. I didn't stop smiling all night and for the next few days while I was editing the photos. From then on I knew that this was what I needed to spend the rest of my life doing.
Whats Your Photography Like?
I would describe my style of photography as Candid, Colourful and Creative. My goal is to make sure that every single photo reflects your personality and the atmosphere of the moment. I like to get to know my clients in advance so that we can really work together to make sure that your photography is everything you imagined it would be. From the pure joy of a proposal to a father walking his daughter down the isle, or a family photo shoot at the beach. Life is amazing, your photos should be too.
